Change Your Coolant

Change Fluids Regularly

Besides changing the coolant as often as required, it is also important to change the fluids regularly. Cabin Air Filter

Test the Coolant

You can use a voltmeter to test the coolant. It is easier than what you expect, you just set the voltmeter on the lowest DC setting reading and then you simply dip the positive probe into the coolant. Then touch the negative probe to the negative battery terminal and rev the engine to two thousand rpm. If the reading is point four volts or even higher, then your coolant is toast.

Clean the Headlights

Don’t forget to clean cloudy and dirty headlights. There are specially designed kits available on the market that are designed to clean cloudy headlights, so you definitely don’t need to replace them entirely and spend even more money on new ones.

Don’t Mix Different Coolants

You know there are different types of coolants available on the market, separated in different categories like green, yellow, orange, red, and blue. Make sure you are always using the same colour of coolant and you don’t mix different ones as this can lead to some serious damages to the heater core and buying a new heater core is definitely a cost you don’t want to deal with.
