We are a family run business going back to 1st June 1978 where we first began trading from a workshop on Yarm High Street. As the business grew we became a part of the local community and this allowed us to build up a good loyal customer base and have excellent relationships with neighbors, customers and suppliers.

Being in business so long has allowed our knowledge and experience to grow over time and as cars have become more technical our knowledge has grown alongside which allows us to deal with almost any fault related to tyres, exhausts and batteries.

In today's market the possibilities in terms of tyre size and specifications of parts are endless and due to this we use the latest technologies to catalog and keep up with all of the latest information from manufacturers and suppliers so we can find the correct part for your vehicle at any time.

We carry a huge stock of tyres and batteries and we use local suppliers who can provide us with any parts we need with a daily service, sometimes within minutes so we have no problem getting parts we require. At Derek Campbell Tyre and Exhaust Centre we have a dedicated team of staff who are totally committed to customer service and excellence in their field.

Batteries

Batteries really are a quality product now and generally give a life of five to six years or more. But the problem with a battery is that they do just ‘go’.

It used to be that case that a cold snap would give everyone battery problems but now it can be any time of the year without warning. We carry a large stock of batteries so we can help you out with this one any time. Again, all checks are free of charge, so if you think you may have a problem then feel free to pop in any time and we can help.

All our batteries come with a three year guarantee.

Exhaust systems now are generally long lasting, but they do have many metal shields around the system which can corrode and drop and cause rattling and we can deal with this for you.

All our exhaust system replacements come with a full two year guarantee and suppliers are local so parts are easily available. We don't mind checking anything out at any time so don't worry, pop in and we can take a look and deal with problems any time.

The tyre business is an extremely complicated one now. Many vehicles require specific fitment and handling and performance may be adversely effected...so it can be very important to have the right tyre!

We carry large stocks and can offer a wide range of tyres to suit all purpose and pockets. Everything we sell is ROSPA tested and you can be assured of the safety of every tyre, even from the least expensive that we supply. We can look after everything from the little runabout to the executive motor and provide the perfect tyre for every driver.

We can supply All Terrain, Mud Terrain, Van in fact everything is available to us. We will also look after your wheel barrow tyres and grass cutter tyres.
