About the Business
Established in 1998, Jamie Start began servicing and repairing cars and vans from his father's double garage. The business rapidly grew and larger premises were needed and subsequently found in Thaxted Road. Jamie's father Paul had a financial interest in Jamie's venture and together a trading name of the business was agreed upon, JPS Motors.
The name was born out of our names: J from Jamie, P from Paul, and S from our surname of Start. As the business had steadily grown Jamie's cousin Nigel joined the business.
